With over two decades of dynamic professional experience, Brett stands out as a seasoned expert in both the banking and events industries. His career journey spans a notable 15 years in the banking sector, followed by 12 years at the helm of a successful events company.
Brett began his professional journey in the banking industry, where he spent years honing his skills in asset management company, foreign banks and financial services. His tenure in banking was marked by a deep understanding of complex financial systems and a commitment to excellence in customer service.
In 2012, Brett made a bold transition from banking to the events industry, driven by a passion for creativity and organization. Brett and Irene who has been in the MICE industry for more than 25 years, founded icube events pte ltd. Over the past 12 years, Brett has led the company to new heights, orchestrating a diverse range of events from corporate conferences, seminars and exhibitions to product launches, gala dinners, team-building and dinner & dance events.
Under Brett’s leadership, icube events has earned a reputation for excellence, known for its meticulous attention to detail, innovative approach, and exceptional client service. Their ability to blend financial acumen with creative flair has been instrumental in driving the company’s success and establishing it as a leading name in the events industry.
Today, Brett continues to drive icube events forward, embracing new challenges and opportunities with the same passion and dedication that have defined their career. Brett believes that building a strong operations team is not easy as he believes that human capital is the key asset and success of the company, thus he places a lot of emphasis on structuring and setting the right people at the right position. icube events believes in giving the young generation an opportunity to learn and so, Brett went about setting up internship programmes with various tertiary institutions.

Brett is an Adult Fan of Lego (AFOL) who enjoy collecting and building Lego Modular series and technic cars with his sons.
As a child watching Transformers cartoon in the 80s, he grew up loving transformers. As a working adult with the financial means, he started collecting transformers toys such as official product from Takara Tomy Masterpieces and Kuro Kara Kuri line from Flame Toys.
As an active member in his sons’ primary school’s Fathers Group, he strongly believed in the Dads for Life movement that seeks to inspire, mobilise and involve fathers to become good influences in their children’s lives. He wants to strongly encourage more fathers to be better role models and an enduring inspiration to their children.
