Annually, Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA), Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and Toa Payoh Central Community Club collaborated to bring to the residents the Duan Wu Carnival. This carnival was filled with many fun activities such as cultural performances, on-the-spot art contests, food booths and the iconic land dragon boat race. An exhibition was also put up with students as guides to explain to the public more about the culture and the Dragon Boat Festival.
icube events was privileged to assist SFCCA for 4 consecutive years in creating the master design of all the collaterals and printed materials, logistics set up for the exhibition, fabrication of the land dragon boat structure as well as managing the land dragon boat competition. During the race, we helped to ensure the smooth flow of the race and the safety of the participants. It was a fun day out for everyone young and old, and a joy to see everyone enjoying their time spent at the carnival.
